Pritam Singh

Pritam Singh is a Singaporean politician, lawyer, and author who has served as the Member of Parliament for the Aljunied Group Representation Constituency since 2011. He has been the secretary-general of the Workers' Party since 2018 and previously served as the first de jure Leader of the Opposition from 2020 to 2026. Educated at the National University of Singapore and King's College London, Singh is a former combat engineer and legal practitioner. Throughout his career, he has advocated for policies such as a universal minimum wage and enhanced English proficiency requirements for residency, while positioning his party as a pragmatic alternative in Singapore's political landscape.
