Priyank Kharge

Priyank Kharge is an Indian politician serving as a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Karnataka. A three-time Member of the Legislative Assembly representing the Chittapur constituency, he has held various ministerial portfolios, including Home Affairs, Information Technology, and Biotechnology. Kharge began his political career as an activist with the National Students' Union of India and rose through the ranks of the Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress. He is known for his focus on technology policy, having introduced initiatives like the Startup Booster Kit and the Bengaluru Tech Summit. An Ambedkarite and Buddhist, he is the son of senior politician Mallikarjun Kharge.
