Régis Juanico

Régis Juanico is a French politician currently serving as the Mayor of Saint-Étienne and President of Saint-Étienne Métropole. A long-time member of the Socialist Party, he previously served as a deputy for the first constituency of the Loire from 2007 to 2022. Throughout his career, he has been deeply involved in national policy regarding sports, public health, and the regulation of gambling. Juanico is a graduate of the Lyon Institute of Political Studies and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
