Rachel Payne

Rachel Payne is an Australian politician serving as a member of the Victorian Legislative Council for the South-Eastern Metropolitan Region since November 2022. Representing the Legalise Cannabis Victoria party, she advocates for policy reform regarding cannabis regulation. Prior to her election to the Legislative Council, Payne was active in local and federal politics, having run as a candidate for the Reason Party in the 2019 federal election for the seat of Menzies and in the 2020 local elections for the City of Moreland. Her professional background includes experience as a burlesque dancer.
