Rachel Ventura is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Illinois Senate representing the 43rd district. Before her election to the state senate, she served as a member of the Will County Board from 2018 to 2022 and unsuccessfully ran for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2020. In addition to her political career, Ventura worked in the tabletop games industry for a decade and authored a Dungeons & Dragons adventure that received an ENNIE award nomination in 2018.
