Rafael Rey

Rafael Rey is a Peruvian engineer, political commentator, and conservative politician who currently serves as Minister of Transport and Communications. Throughout his long political career, he has served as a member of the Peruvian Congress, a Representative to the Andean Parliament, and held cabinet positions including Minister of Production and Minister of Defense under President Alan García. He was also a candidate for First Vice President in the 2011 general election and later served as a director of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru.
