Rainer Bensch

Rainer Bensch is a German politician and member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft, the state parliament of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he has served multiple terms in the Bürgerschaft, focusing primarily on health, nursing, and social policy. Before his political career, Bensch served as a soldier and later qualified as a geriatric nurse, eventually earning a degree in health management. He currently serves as the CDU faction spokesperson for health, hospitals, and nursing, and is active in various parliamentary committees, including those overseeing budget and finance.
