Rajinder Gupta is an Indian politician and industrialist currently serving as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, representing the state of Punjab. A prominent business leader, he founded the Trident Group, a major conglomerate specializing in textiles, paper, and chemicals, and previously served as its Chairman. In 2007, he was awarded the Padma Shri for his significant contributions to trade and industry. After initially entering politics with the Aam Aadmi Party, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2026.
