Ralf Niedmers

Ralf Niedmers is a German politician and a long-serving member of the Hamburg Parliament, representing the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Born in Hamburg in 1967, he has held his parliamentary seat since 1997 and currently serves on several committees, including those for environment, climate, energy, and internal affairs. Beyond his legislative duties, he acts as a spokesperson for sports, hunting, and the armed forces for the CDU parliamentary group. Previously, he worked as a real estate economist and served as a board member for a housing cooperative. In 2025, he presided over the constituent session of the 23rd legislative period as the oldest member of the parliament.
