Ram Pratap Verma, also known as Shashikant Verma, is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, representing the Utraula constituency. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he was first elected to the assembly in 2017 and secured a second consecutive term in 2022. Before his legislative career, he served as the village head of Imalia Vanghusra from 2006 to 2011 and held various district-level positions within his party. Beyond politics, he is the director of the SRTC group of colleges and manages several business interests.
