Ramkarpal Singh is a Malaysian politician and lawyer who has served as the Member of Parliament for Bukit Gelugor since 2014. A member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), he previously served as the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Law and Institutional Reforms from 2022 to 2023. Beyond his legislative career, he is a practicing lawyer who has notably represented the family of Altantuya Shaariibuu. He currently holds leadership roles within the DAP, including Deputy Secretary-General and State Deputy Chairman for Penang.
