Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir is a Bangladeshi politician, academic, and economic researcher currently serving as an adviser to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh with the rank of minister, overseeing the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Planning. He is a Professor of Economics and former Chairman of the Department of Development Studies at the University of Dhaka, as well as the founding chairperson of the independent think tank Unnayan Onneshan. He has authored multiple books on political economy, development, and environmental sustainability, and has advised various international organizations and United Nations bodies.
