Rebecca Holcombe is an American educator and politician currently serving as a member of the Vermont House of Representatives for the Windsor-Orange-2 district. Previously, she served as the Vermont Secretary of Education from 2013 to 2018, where she oversaw the implementation of Act 46, a major legislative effort to consolidate school districts. A former teacher and school administrator, Holcombe has been a vocal advocate for early childhood education, personalized learning, and equity in public schools. She was also a candidate for Governor of Vermont in the 2020 Democratic primary.
