Reginald L. Thomas

Reginald L. Thomas is an American politician and attorney serving as a member of the Kentucky Senate. First elected in 2013, his victory marked a historic milestone as one of the first two African Americans to serve concurrently in the Kentucky Senate. A member of the Democratic Party, he currently serves as the minority caucus chair. Beyond his legislative work, Thomas is a law professor and has been noted for his creative advocacy, including viral efforts to raise the state's minimum wage.
