Renson Jesus Martinez Prada

Renson Jesús Martínez Prada is a Colombian politician and environmental engineer currently serving as the Governor of Arauca. Born in Arauquita, he holds a master's degree in Environment and Development from the National University of Colombia. Before his election as governor in 2023, he served as the Mayor of Arauquita from 2016 to 2019 and held various administrative roles, including Secretary of Planning and Infrastructure. His political platform emphasizes agricultural development, rural investment, and public policy improvement.
