Renze Bergsma

Renze Bergsma is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Coevorden since October 1, 2021. Before his current appointment, he held various political roles, including serving as an alderman and deputy mayor in the former municipality of Woudrichem, and as a member of the Provincial Council of North Brabant. Bergsma studied traffic engineering at the NHTV International University of Applied Sciences in Breda and previously worked as a civil servant. He is a member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA).
