Reuben Meade

Reuben Theodore Meade is a Montserratian politician currently serving as the Premier of Montserrat. A veteran figure in local politics, he previously held the office of Chief Minister from 1991 to 1996 and 2009 to 2014, and served as the territory's first Premier. Meade has been a member of several political organizations, including the Movement for Change and Prosperity and the National Progressive Party, before leading the United Alliance to victory in the 2024 general election. His career includes significant experience in finance and development, having worked as a director at the Ministry of Finance prior to his long-standing legislative service.
