Rey T. Uy

Rey T. Uy is a Filipino politician currently serving as the Mayor of Tagum, the capital city of Davao del Norte. A long-serving local official, he previously held positions as a member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Davao Province and as Vice-Governor. Throughout his tenure as mayor, he has been recognized for his focus on local budget administration and public service, notably becoming the first elected official in the Philippines to receive the Gawad Pag-asa Award from the National Civil Service Commission in 2007. His administration is characterized by a commitment to infrastructure development and economic growth within the Davao Region.
