Rianne Letschert is a Dutch politician and academic serving as the Minister of Education, Culture and Science in the Jetten cabinet since February 2026. Before entering national politics, she had a distinguished career in academia, notably serving as the rector magnificus and later president of the board at Maastricht University. A law scholar specializing in victimology and international law, she also played a key role as an informateur during the 2025–2026 Dutch cabinet formation process. As minister, she has focused on student compensation policies and the culture portfolio.
