Daphne Bergman

Daphne Bergman is a Dutch politician currently serving as the Mayor of Beuningen, a position she has held since January 2019 after serving as acting mayor for one year. A member of the Democrats 66 (D66) party, she previously built an extensive career in local government in Gouda, where she served as a municipal councilor, faction leader, and alderman from 2010 to 2018. Bergman studied European Studies at the University of Amsterdam and began her political career as a campaign worker and parliamentary assistant for D66. Throughout her tenure, she has focused on areas including economic development, urban marketing, and regional cooperation.
