Rick Hillenbrand is an American politician serving as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates representing the 88th district. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career in the United States Navy, serving from 1978 to 1999 and retiring with the rank of Commander. He is an accomplished engineer, holding a Bachelor of Engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College and two graduate degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A dedicated volunteer, Hillenbrand is a lifelong Eagle Scout and has received numerous honors for his service to the organization, including the Silver Buffalo Award.
