Richard Lyle West is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives for the 3rd district. First elected to the seat in 2016, he served one term before retiring in 2018. He returned to the legislature after winning the 2020 election and was sworn in on January 11, 2021. Prior to his political career, West worked as a poultry farmer, a cattle rancher, and an animal inspector for the United States Department of Agriculture.
