
Rimas Jonas Jankūnas

Rimas Jonas Jankūnas is a Lithuanian politician and surgeon who has served as a member of the 14th Seimas since 2024. A graduate of the Kaunas Medical Institute, he spent decades in academia as a lecturer and docent at the Kaunas Medical Academy. His professional background includes serving as deputy head of the State Medicines Control Agency from 2003 to 2012 and leading the Institute of Health Law. In the Seimas, he is a member of the Health Committee and serves on the Commission for Addiction Prevention as well as the Commission for Freedom Struggles and Historical Memory.
