Ritu Khanduri Bhushan

Ritu Khanduri Bhushan is an Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party and serving as the Speaker of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. Born in Nainital in 1965 as the daughter of former Uttarakhand Chief Minister B. C. Khanduri, she entered active politics and was elected to the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly in 2017 representing Yamkeshwar. In 2022, she won the Kotdwar seat and made history by becoming the first woman to serve as the Speaker of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly.
