Rob Lantz

Rob Lantz is a Canadian politician currently serving as the 34th Premier of Prince Edward Island. A member of the Progressive Conservative Party, he previously held the premiership from February to December 2025 before resigning to successfully contest the party's 2026 leadership election. Prior to his current role, Lantz served as a member of the Charlottetown City Council and held various cabinet positions, including Minister of Education and Early Years. His political platform has included initiatives to reduce interprovincial trade barriers and proposals for infrastructure projects such as a tunnel connecting Prince Edward Island to Nova Scotia.
