Mary Robinson

Mary Robinson is a Canadian parliamentarian and business leader who has served as a senator for Prince Edward Island since January 2024. Before her appointment to the Senate, she established a significant career in the agricultural sector, serving as the managing partner of the Robinson Group of Companies, a sixth-generation family agribusiness based in Albany, Prince Edward Island. In 2019, she made history as the first woman and the first Prince Edward Islander to be elected president of the Canadian Federation of Agriculture. Additionally, she has served as the vice-president of the World Farmers' Organisation, bringing extensive experience in agricultural policy and advocacy to her legislative role.
