Robbert-Jan van Duijn

Robbert-Jan van Duijn is a Dutch theologian and politician serving as the Mayor of Nieuwkoop since February 3, 2020. A member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), he previously served as a municipal councilor and faction leader in Aalsmeer from 2010 to 2016, followed by a term as an alderman in Aalsmeer with a portfolio including Schiphol airport, education, and spatial development. Van Duijn holds a bachelor's degree in theology from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and has been active as a guest preacher within the Protestant Church in the Netherlands.
