Robert Lyndon Barbers

Robert Lyndon Barbers is a Filipino politician currently serving as the Governor of Surigao del Norte. He first assumed the governorship in 2001, where he gained early attention for his anti-illegal drug campaigns. After a period out of office, during which he unsuccessfully ran for a seat in the House of Representatives in 2007, he returned to the governorship following the 2022 elections. Throughout his career, he has navigated various legal challenges, including an acquittal related to the 2004 Fertilizer Fund scam.
