Robert Merski

Robert Merski is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 2nd district since 2019. Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, he earned a degree in education from Mercyhurst University and a master's degree from Wilkes University. Before his election to the state legislature, Merski worked as a social studies teacher for the Erie City School District and served for seven years on the Erie City Council. He is a member of the Democratic Party and holds committee assignments in Game & Fisheries, Gaming Oversight, Insurance, and Urban Affairs.
