Rodney Elliott

Rodney Elliott is an American politician serving as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the 16th Middlesex District since 2023. A long-time public servant in Lowell, Massachusetts, he previously served as the city's mayor from 2014 to 2016 and as a city councilor for 24 years, where he earned a reputation as a fiscal watchdog. Throughout his career, he has focused on municipal finance, community development, and public safety, including advocating for legislative protections for sports officials. Elliott holds degrees from Plymouth State University, Suffolk University, and The Catholic University of America, and he previously worked as a city planner and for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
