Rokeya Begum

Rokeya Begum is a Bangladeshi politician and Member of Parliament representing a reserved women's seat in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad, nominated by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. Prior to entering politics, she worked as a schoolteacher and is also widely known as the mother of Jabir Ibrahim, a martyr of the July Uprising. She completed her education at Khilgaon Government High School, Siddheswari Girls' College, and Eden Mohila College, earning bachelor's and master's degrees.
