Mir Ahmad Bin Quasem

Mir Ahmad Bin Quasem is a Bangladeshi barrister, politician, and human rights activist who serves as a Member of the Jatiya Sangsad for the Dhaka-14 constituency. Educated at Manarat Dhaka International School, the University of London, and the Inns of Court School of Law, he was called to the Bar of England and Wales. A prominent member of his father Mir Quasem Ali's legal defense team, he was subjected to an enforced disappearance in 2016 and detained for eight years before his release in August 2024. He subsequently entered electoral politics, securing a parliamentary seat in the 2026 general election.
