Roman Mács

Roman Mács is a Slovak municipal politician and the current Mayor of Pezinok, having assumed office in 2022. He holds a law degree from Comenius University in Bratislava and has previously served as a member of the Pezinok municipal council and as the leader of the historic Cajla district. In addition to his political career, he is a company director and serves as the chancellor of the Guild of Viticulturists and Winemakers of Slovakia. Mács is actively involved in regional development and environmental advocacy, notably opposing mining projects in the Little Carpathians to protect local water and forest resources.
