Ron Travis

Ron Travis is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 31st district since 2012. Before entering politics, he spent 27 years as an insurance agent and owned an agency with Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. During his legislative tenure, he has held various leadership roles, including chairing the Business Subcommittee and the Joint Fiscal Review Committee. Travis is known for his opposition to school vouchers and his active involvement in local chambers of commerce and community organizations in East Tennessee.
