Rory Amon

Rory Amon is an Australian former politician who served as the Member for Pittwater in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 2023 to 2024. Before his election to state parliament, he served as a councillor on the Northern Beaches Council from 2017 to 2023. A solicitor by profession, Amon also worked as a volunteer firefighter and rugby union referee. He resigned from parliament in August 2024 following the filing of child sex offence charges, for which he has since faced legal proceedings.
