Rosário Gambôa

Rosário Gambôa is a Portuguese politician and academic who has served as a deputy in the Assembly of the Republic since 2019, representing the Porto constituency. A member of the Socialist Party, she has held leadership roles within the parliamentary group, including coordinator of the Committee on Education and Science. Before entering national politics, she had a distinguished academic career, notably serving as the president of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto from 2010 to 2018. She holds a PhD in philosophy from the University of Minho and has authored numerous works on education, ethics, and democracy.
