Rose Iser

Rose Iser is an Australian local government politician currently serving as the Mayor of the City of Moonee Valley. First elected to the council representing Myrnong Ward, she has over eight years of experience in local government and was elected Mayor in October 2025. Dr. Iser holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne and has previously worked with the Melbourne Graduate School of Education and the Flemington Theatre Company. Her political focus includes sustainability, community engagement, disability strategy, and the expansion of accessible childcare services.
