Ruben Baumgarten

Ruben Baumgarten is a Dutch politician and medical professional who has served as a member of the Senate of the Netherlands since 2023. Representing the JA21 party, he brings a background in medicine and healthcare management to his legislative role. Prior to his election to the Senate, Baumgarten studied medicine at Erasmus University Rotterdam and completed his PhD at Radboud University. He also held a leadership position as the general director of a medical diagnostics centre, leveraging his clinical and administrative expertise in his public service career.
