Russell Holmes

Russell Holmes is an American politician serving as a Democratic member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. First elected in 2010, he represents the Sixth Suffolk District, which encompasses several Boston neighborhoods including Dorchester, Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain, Mattapan, and Roslindale. Throughout his tenure, he has held various leadership roles, including serving as the Chair of the Black and Latino Caucus of Massachusetts and participating in the Emerging Leaders program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. He currently serves on several key committees, including the Joint Committee on Public Housing, the Joint Committee on Financial Services, the Joint Committee on Election Laws, and the Joint Committee on Ways and Means.
