Rustam Bakoyan

Rustam Bakoyan is an Armenian politician and a Member of the National Assembly of Armenia. Born in Nor Kyank, Ararat Province, he graduated from the Geographical Department of the Geographical Faculty at Yerevan State University. He has been active in civic leadership, serving as chairman of the Armenian-Yezidi Youth movement “Shams” and organizing humanitarian assistance for Yezidis. Elected to parliament in 2018 and subsequently re-elected, he serves on the Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs.
