Dewey "Rusty" Crowe is an American politician serving as a member of the Tennessee Senate, representing the 3rd district since 1990. Originally elected as a write-in Democratic candidate, he switched to the Republican Party in 1996. A veteran of the U.S. Army Security Agency, Crowe has held various leadership roles in the state legislature, including chairing the General Welfare, Health & Human Resources Committee. His policy positions include support for the death penalty, the display of the Ten Commandments in public schools, and expanded gun rights.
