Ruth Luque

Ruth Luque is a Peruvian politician, lawyer, and columnist serving as a Member of the Congress of the Republic of Peru representing the Cusco region for the 2021–2026 parliamentary term. Born in Santiago, Cusco, she studied law at the National University of Saint Anthony the Abbot in Cusco and earned a master's degree in criminal law. Throughout her legislative career, she has been involved in progressive initiatives, including co-authoring a bill for equal marriage, and has chaired the congressional Committee on Andean, Amazonian and Afro-Peruvian Peoples, Environment and Ecology.
