Ryad Mezzour

Ryad Mezzour is a Moroccan politician and engineer serving as the Minister of Industry and Trade since October 2021. Born in Rabat in 1971, he earned a degree in mechanical engineering and a master's in business management from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. Before entering government service, he worked as a research and development engineer at ABB, a financial services consultant for Deloitte, and held various management and executive roles, including general manager of Budget Rent a Car in Morocco and Suzuki Morocco, as well as director of the cabinet for the Economic, Social and Environmental Council.
