Ryan Lauer

Ryan Lauer is an American politician serving as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives for the 59th district, having assumed office in November 2018. A native of Columbus, Indiana, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and biochemistry from Indiana University Bloomington. Before his legislative career, Lauer worked in technical support for Kiva Networking and BlueMarble Telecom, served as a technical specialist for Cummins, and founded Lauer Technology in 2004. He also performed as a violinist with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic. In the legislature, he serves as vice chair of the Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee and has been involved in policy efforts regarding public health mandates.
