David Abbott

David Abbott is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing the 18th district since May 2018. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he attended Indiana University Bloomington. Before his tenure in the state legislature, Abbott held extensive local government experience, including 27 years on the Rome City Town Council and three years on the Noble County Board of Commissioners. Professionally, he worked as a design engineer at Luttman Precision Mold from 2007 to 2017. In his current legislative role, he serves as the vice chair of the House Natural Resources Committee.
