Séamus McGrath is an Irish politician serving as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Cork South-Central constituency since the 2024 general election. Prior to his election to the Dáil, he served as a member of the Cork County Council for the Carrigaline area from 2007 to 2024. A commerce graduate of University College Cork, McGrath previously worked in the business sector and served as a member of the Garda Síochána before transitioning into full-time politics. He is the brother of European Commissioner Michael McGrath and resides in Carrigaline with his family.
