Sébastien Fagnen is a French politician serving as a Senator for the Manche department since October 2023. Born in Cherbourg in 1987, he began his political career with the Young Socialists and served as a parliamentary assistant before being elected to the municipal council of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin in 2014. He held the position of deputy mayor of Cherbourg-Octeville from 2017 to 2023 and served as a departmental councilor for the canton of Cherbourg-Octeville 2 from 2015 to 2021. Fagnen holds degrees in sociology and urban planning, and he represents the Socialist Party in the French Senate.
