Sadik Al-Hassan

Sadik Al-Hassan is a British Labour Party politician and pharmacist who has served as the Member of Parliament for North Somerset since 2024. Born to an Iraqi father and an Irish mother, he graduated from the University of Bath and spent over a decade working in the pharmacy sector, including roles at Boots and as a superintendent pharmacist. Entering politics, he campaigned on a platform focused on rebuilding the National Health Service and addressing local pharmacy closures. In Parliament, he has advocated for assisted dying legislation and is recognized as one of the Labour Party's Muslim MPs.
