Sakari Puisto

Sakari Puisto is a Finnish politician currently serving as the Minister of Economic Affairs in the Orpo Cabinet. A member of the Finns Party, he was first elected to the Parliament of Finland in 2019 representing the Pirkanmaa constituency. Before his political career, Puisto earned a Ph.D. in physical sciences from Cambridge University and worked for companies in China. Throughout his parliamentary tenure, he has focused on economic, employment, and innovation policies, and previously chaired the Commerce Committee.
