Sally Hamwee, Baroness Hamwee

Sally Hamwee, Baroness Hamwee, is a British Liberal Democrat politician and a life peer in the House of Lords. Appointed to the House of Lords in 1991, she has served as the Lead Home Affairs Spokesperson and chaired the Justice and Home Affairs Select Committee. Previously, she was a long-serving councillor in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and held the position of Chair of the London Assembly on multiple occasions between 2001 and 2008. Before her full-time political career, she worked as a solicitor specializing in media and entertainment law.
